Email recieved from my place of employment
This is odd. I recieved a email that matches every characteristic of Netsky.t from my work place. There are two things that strike me as odd however.
One: no one here has the address I recieved it on,.... not sure how it was used.
two, the email didnt come with a attachment - instead I got 10 pages of gibberish, similar if you try to view a exe with notepad.
my only guess to that part is somehow the attachment got attached as text instead of its normal exe... ??
anyone seen something like that before?
obviously there was no infection attempt... but everything else is indicating netsky.t
(subject: hi!, message: Hi! I found the archive. Yours sincerly)

Most viruses thankfully contain bugs (just like any other piece of software). It probably screwed up somewhere.

Nah, it gives me something to do Every morning I anxiously open the console to our content-scanners hoping to find some brand new variant that nobody knows about. Then I get all excited because I have a new "toy" to play with
