Well here's TDS - 3's web site. I am well pleased with it. However it is a 30 day free trial. But it works and comes with some other utils that you can use as well

I use A2.... it's free & works great. Doesn't offer real time protection but that wasnt something I was looking for - slows things down too much IMO. Get it from http://www.emsisoft.com/en/

Whilst you are at the site that relyt has posted get RegistryProt, which is free. As most malware attempts to make registry entries, this gives you some interactive protection, but it is not a detector.
It does not use much resource either.

if you used the cleaner just dont uninstall the trial version. the registry protection stays active even after the cleaner expires. what good trojan doesn't need/use a reg entry? if you've got the reg entry you've got the trojan's name location etc.

You could try Swat It. That's totally free with updates. There are versions you can purchase as well.
You could also try GFI's Online Trojan Scanner. It's a free online trojan scanner.
