    Window Manager

    Can anyone recommend any cool looking window managers for linux ? (excluding KDE and GNOME)

    I like BlackBox personally. Simple and efficient.

    I preferrer KDE. But, in this case I would go for BlackBox (written in C++) or Entrance:

    i like windowmaker (http://www.windowmaker.org/) or blackbox (http://blackboxwm.sourceforge.net/). both are very fast and very easy to customize.

    fluxbox has everything blackbox has + some other very good features
