    Windows Problem?

I recently did a complete reinstall of my XP home on my laptop and everything is working great, but. Now when I want to do a nstat or run fport, the little window pops up and then closes immeadiately. This of course makes fport and the nstat commands nonworkable.
How do I cure this.....it has me stumped. (cmd promt window is the only one that stays open -- untill I put in nstat or any other command)

    Hey Hey mox.

That is indeed a very interesting one. I'm assuming you are actually running the command prompt, and not double clicking on the file. As a temporarily workaround until someone finds a solution, you could always do command | pause.

I've been searching google on this topic, and I'm not discovering a whole lot of information. There's a thread on a similar topic @ http://www.utteraccess.com/forums/ac...ess831317.html. It seems in that case it was virus related.

I dunno, maybe this will help ya, if not I'll take a trip to a very hot place.

    Peace,
    HT

HT, the pause cmd causes it to pause and show 'press any key to continue....' and when I press any key it just jumps to the cmd line again. But I followed that link and at least for the ipconfig cmd the '/all' does seem to work.
    Thanks
