Okay, now not only do I agree with HTRegz suggestion, I'm in his "campaign" so to speak to have this SERIOUSLY implemented. It is a great idea and a recent problem lately at AO is that people are writing half-assed tutorial's (or tip's, and I know I'm guilty of doing it as well) and then the thread get's moved to another forum. So because this has become a recent and frequent problem, I REALLY hope that this get's implemented. Neg, whaddya say?

Umm, I think the idea is to have a forum created on the AntiOnline site where user's can post their tips' and trick's. And you advertising your website is kinda a no-no. We're not looking for a tips and tricks website, we're looking for the admin/mods to create a new forum. Thank's though.

I was not trying to advertise my web site. I just did not feel that I would have to post all the Tips & Tricks onto one forum or thread.
That would be more like spamming or flooding, which I would not agree with.
Posting just the link of tips and tricks was less agressive.
Unless you want me to post the page as a file that people could download.
I have seen that done before. Just like the bookmarks thread.

I understand that, but your not understanding the purpose of this thread. It's to suggest to the admin's and mod's the use of a Tip's and Trick's forum at AntiOnline. It has nothing to do with posting tip's and trick's (or a link to that kinda site for that matter). We're trying to get that forum implemented (or created, whichever you prefer). If you like you can create a thread in GCC or w/e and post your website or your Tip's and Trick's there.

hmm, i dont think this is necessary. If someone has a tip or trick, he can post it in the forum depending on subject, OS, etc.. So if its a tip&trick for lilo for example, it would go into the *nix section. Too many forums are not always that good. Quality instead of quantity. To the tutorials subject, there is a thread in suggestions about that. Lets not cloak up the forums with too many things which could be done with the current setup.
Just my 2 cents (w00t, its the first time i said that)
Cheers.
