Hmmm..... the first thing that springs to mind is that it is quarterly..... I pay almost 20 euros for something that could well be 3 months out of date.... That doesn't sound great Ms M.... You get it, I'll pay half and we can giggle together.......

Ya.. might be a bit out of date but that's ok. Most journals are, no matter where they are published. Should be interesting nonetheless. I should get my first issue in about 3 weeks so I'll let everyone know what the quality is like. Their website looks interesting (although the scrolling crap on the bottom is annoying).

    Greetings All:

Well, I certainly understand that there must be a good bit of overhead involved in starting up a Journal such as that.

However, one would think that they could have afforded clip art that was a bit more on-topic for an information security journal. A photo of a pissed off gorilla for the cover of their first issue?

    Those crazy French people........

Well I did receive the Journal today. It's done in the larger size paper (A3 or 11 x 17) and reminds me of a larger 2600 but more oriented towards security. Interestingly enough, there is an article on how to Autopsy. The article on MySQL injection Techniques with PHP looks interesting and I think I might use it for a class example for my Intro Course. It's disappointing that it's quarterly but the articles are not time-dependent (at least not yet). If they get enough of a base, perhaps they will go monthly.
