With the case off, power up and see if the fan starts...........check that all wires are firmly connected to the Motherboard.

I would uninstall spyhunter, I have tried it and would class it as "crapware"

I love the way it can find things on a nachine that is brand new and never been connected to the internet?

    Try Pest Patrol's trial.

    Cheers

I'll second that. It wouldn't surprise me if it generated a false positive in order to scare you into buying it.

Give A-Squared a try. I count it as a must have piece of software. And the price is right .

    Hi tetrismaster,

    Check out what groovicus suggested.

    Pest patrol is at:

    http://www.pestpatrol.com/

Check the thingy with the green blob on the lower left or upper right. "Pestscan"?

They are now doing a free online scanning service................like a lot of the major AV companies are doing for viruses. (Trend Micro "Housecall", Panda online scanner etc)

    Nice link groovicus

    Good luck
