I mean nothing by asking this (or maybe not) but ummm how old are you? Just wondering.

Denial of Service attacks

DoS attacks... it means that you're denying access to various services. This does not have to be limited to flooding... your common garden variety stack overflow can often lead to denial of service.

Thanks for clearing that up, I didn't realise that other types of attack were considered dos attacks. I guess it makes perfect sense when you think about the meaning of dos. (in the above context)
