    Hping Win32 port

    Hiya,

After readin the horse's excellenet series on using Hping to evaluate various things (starting here http://www.antionline.com/showthread...ighlight=hping), I set about porting hping to windows, well anyway after about 5 minutes I got bored and decided to go online instead and have a look to see if someone had already done the work......

Just randomly as i went though astalavista i stumbled across "hwing" that claimed to be a port of hping, I downloaded it and the authors web site is http://www.angelfire.com/linux/snooq

The link to the download is http://www.angelfire.com/linux/snooq/hwing.zip

it is supplied as C source and there is no binary so you have to compile yourself, it includes the windows VC++ IDE project files, so was coded in there but from the source I can see nothing specific to that IDE that would prevent you from compiling in another compiler such as bloodshed.

at present TCP is only implemented, not sure if he plans on updating and including UDP, who knows...

anyway thought might be of use to some people

    Thanks for the kudos....

There is a part 5 being written to finish up the series. I originally planned on making it a countermeasures tut, however, because I received so many requests for examples of HPING use, I have made the final tut a "Reader's Choice".

I plan on having it finished and posted in about a week and a half.
