Cant get wireless G to work with red hat 9.0
i have red hat 9.0 and i have no internet so its boreing with out it. i need drivers for red hat 9.0 now what i have is a :linksys wireless-G PCI Adapter:WMP54GS if any body can give me some tips or can find the drives thanks 4 your help.

You have the 802.11 G? You are in a very bad spot, as it is. http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/
There is limited [if any] support for anything but the B revision right now under Linux. Can't your card change modes? [I hope you didn't buy a card that's only G, because that standard is poorly supported anyway in terms of connectivity. Yes, it's faster, but where are you going to use it?]

I have my wireless G ,and its also a linksys working, using a dericvate of the windows drivers and ndiswrapper.
The wmp54g is a linksys card and that one uses the broadcomchip, so ndiswrapper is your god in this thread. And if i'm correct you need the Broadcom 94306 reference.

I see they have even a link to Redhat RPM packages, so should be easily installable.

Check the guide , the second link, there's pretty much everything step-by-step.
This guide presumes you know basics of a konsole, shell,terminal.
