    Help Needed..

Ok here's the problem, i've just finished building 2 Box's for a friend..

    Box 1.
    *Win98Se
    *Network Card
    *Internal Modem
    *40Gb Hard Drive (C:\)
    *20GB Hard Drive (D:\)
    Box 2.
    *Win98Se
    *Network Card
    *External Modem
    *2Gb Hard Drive (C:\)

Anyhow i was wondering how would i make it so that Box 1 dials into the internet, then once it's connected Box 2 can access the internet without having to dial out?
I've spent the last 5 hours trying to get it to work, but i'm sensing that i'm over looking something..
So all advice will be much appreciated..
And if you want more details then i'll post 'em..

    cheers

    Good Evening,

With Win98SE, you could use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). It's pretty easy to setup following the help file.

    cheers
    Connection refused, try again later.

Good deal, when you get time let me know what didn't work. I use a couple of win98se boxes and when I had tried to assigned an ip rather than use dhcp it wouldn't work.

It turned out that i was assigning the wrong Ip and Subnet's to the Boxe's, i had stupidly put
192.168.0.2 as the Ip for BOX 1
    and
192.168.0.1 as the IP for Box 2

And the subnets were wrong aswell, but i guess that teaches me not to have a conversation with my missus while trying to configure 2 Box's to run on a damned network..

Ah but i learnt some new tricks along the way so it didn't work out to bad after all..

    cheers
