i need help guys!
hello everyone. im queenzy and im new here. actually, i just saw this site when i searched for the word "computer hacking." we have this project in our computer class about hacking, viruses etc. i just hope you guys could help me. basically, what i need to do is to describe how one person (hacker) can get into the files/hack another computer. and i think it'll help if anyone here who knows how to hack would be able to tell me exactly how they do it. i'll be waiting.. thanks!

Is it just me but if you read inbetween the lines it's screamin i'm a skiddie who wants to hack into someone's computer..
But hey i'm probably just Drunk and imaging things..
Anyhow dude to help you i'd suggest that you take a stroll down to the Security Tutorials section read up on a few tutorials, + i would search google about past exploits, learn how the exploits work and go from there..

No one would actually teach you how to hack here. Have u read the site faqs already? This site is dedicated more on preventing events like hacking. Members here are more focused on helping others on how to fix problems, and not create them. Sorry, but if its about how to hack something, I can't help you with that. You might piss other people who would read your post. Asking people who know how to hack how they do it is similar to asking them how to hack a system. Its just not the trend here. Im new here too and so far, thats been the way here. Its better if you could be more particular with what security concerm you have in mind.

Gawd you think all of that could be explained in a post want the best answer learn C perl php and audit code learn SQL ASP learn hex decimal binary learn how to use a debugger. Learn about buffer overflows SQL injection XXS file include vulns uni code ( even though its old still worth learning never know what pops up in the future ) one byte overflows heap overflows Doug lea's malloc exploits read up on loadbale kernal modules bash scripting etc read papers on www.phrack.org . Set up a small network and get to work thsi wont happen over night it will take months years depends on your learning rate i have been studying vuln assement for about 2 year and i dont know everything about the above i mentioned. So if you're serious about it be prepapred for many many long nights of reading papers if i ahve left any vulns out that some one knows could you add them pleae

Edit: Come on people this person could be legit about wanting to learn how to hack give people a break for a change
Another Edit: Read a book on tcp/ip and play with tcp dump so you can look and understand the traffic thats coming in and out of you're network
also you would be better learning how to secure a server first before you go at it

Hi queenzy, and welcome to AO.
You do not need to know "how to hack, or write malware" what you need to know is "how it is done".................there is a BIG difference!
Like it would take you 5 years to learn how, five weeks to analyse what you had learned, and 5 hours to write up your project..................by which time your teacher may well have retired 
If you understand what I am saying and agree then please let us know, and we will try to help.
I know that you could "google" for it, but you would get so much "white noise" it would probably confuse you.
For a start, can you post the instructions/objectives that were given to you for the project......that would help us, or me, at least. And there are a lot of people on this site who have forgotten more than I will ever know about the subject!

OK let me play "devil's advocate".............
I am given a school project for the summer vacation to write a paper about computer hacking/hackers.................
I go to my "best friend"(Google) and type in: "computer hacking"..............I get a lot of hits............many of them are links to weird French and German sites where I can download my very own copy of SubSeven................or a virus generation toolkit..................or whatever............and read this fascinating stuff written by people who's mom must have put their keyboard in the dishwasher and dried it in the microwave (the numbers and letters bits got all jumbled up?)
OR, I can come to a security site like AO, where people talk about malware, exploits and suchlike. How they are done and how to stop them................now that kind of info might just get me an A+ for my project, whilst the source code for SubSeven would get me an Omega-
Just a thought?
And yes, nihil is in a good mood...............he just got $270 from our national savings bonds prize draw!
