    Depends

    T-1 is 1.5Mbps down AND 1.5Mbps up.
Comcast is 4Mbps down, but only 384kbps up.

Here in Washington state, I test out as the same as a T-1 line (approx. 1.54 megs) on downloads. But as Negative has stated my uploads speeds would be far lower. And this is Comcast Cable.

Cable has poor upload speed period.

bah, as its been said uploads > * but what was missed is the fact that cable is a shared line, hence everyone in your node is using the same connection so if i decied to download 100gig of porn from 100 different sites, which i do quite often well then, everyone else in the node suffers as t1 is a leased line, well you can imagine
    thank you and good night

    1. How many terrabytes storage do you have ? 100 gigs X 100 sites = to big for me
    2. how long does that take to download ?
    3. Are you blind ?

I love my comcast connection ...400kb/s downloads usually...50-10kb/s uploads on our CS server...

It suits my needs. Also depends on what you're looking for in your connection.
