 Gmail opening
Opening Of gmail.
well!! may be i missed the inugral offer to Gmail , but its been about 6 months (as far as i can remember) since Gmail opened . excepted for a limited people(some of which can be found here at antionline)the service has not opened for genral public yet , can some one of you kind people tell me when exactly is this gonna open , and what is the thing with the beta phase of google news . its been on the page for two years now and they still aren't finished testing the news search engine , can any one explai as of how is the testing actually done , i am a newbee so plz be genrous

may be it was alll a hoax whic made yahoo and other people to increase their email space . may be as the email was started on april 1ST ,may be a april fool trick .hoo boy if it is true google better start to pack their bags !!:-D

Well, i have my account, i don't think it's a hoax, they just recieved a lots ot criticism from the public and security specialists about their privacy/security issues with the service, i think they're just fixing /channgig stuff.

I personally have rarly heard about Gmail, So i am personally unfamiliar with it. I would also like to no that because my brother was talking about it like a few weeks ago actually.

jr05linux: All it seem's to me is an email account with interesting features and a size limit of up to 1GB. Nothing real special about it considering most people don't get that much mail in the first place.

Pack their bags for what? They're still the best search engine used worldwide....trust me, if it was a hoax, then good for them cuz other people needed to increase their space anyways. I have My Gmail account and i'm happy with it. I can find plenty of use for the 1gig space. I had homework and projects in college reaching 40-50 megs a piece.

well pack their bags ment (something in a funny way) yahoo people chasing and beating the hell out of google people as it was bcoz of the (may be)hoax yahoo increased their space followed by other people so that's that
