FBI publishes computer crime and security stats
Every year for the past nine years, the Computer Security Institute and the FBI undertake a computer crime and security survey among companies and institutions in the US. These surveys provide interesting insights into the level of computer crime being experienced by companies, as well as how they are responding to security breaches
It seems that TheRegister and other sites have taken out the pdf document that was originally included with the article.

This year's survey was, IMO, rather lacking in it's interpretation by the CSI/FBI. I wrote a two part article on it, which ya'll welcome to read here:

id love to get my hands on that information, more understanding on security and wide range of big and small companies etc...Ill try and find it either on google or a p2p app and if i find it ill let ya know
