    windows xp error

    im having a problem with my windows xp
    when i try to install new sosomething an error comes out something like this:
    16 bit Windows Subsystem
    C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT
    The system file is not suitable for running MS DOS & Microsoft Windows applications choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

    post pls. help i want to install new software in my system.

    a message comes out somethin like this
    No destination specified for e:/i386/config.nt_c:/windows/system32/config.nt

    You're missing a space in your command. After the underscore, there is supposed to be a space. Also, make sure your Windows XP CD is in your CD-ROM drive, as I think the directory structure looks like that from the XP CD.

    If this is like a HP computer or something, there might be a folder called "i386" somewhere on the C: or D: drive. You'd simply need to find it on your HDD, and then type that path in for the first part. Good luck.
