"We want to teach children to be thinking human beings," said Melinda Anderson, a spokeswoman for the NEA. "Not a parrot for some corporate agenda."
This article talks about how the Library association is going to help give kids a better look at the copyright law (a.k.a less biased). They talked about making comics for Weekly Reader (little mag given out by teachers to the kids). This seems really cool and IMHO needed. I remember when RIAA busted the young kid for having so many Mp3's on their computer, it just seemed unfair because the kid probably didn't know that they were doing anything wrong. Maybe this will help educate kids a little better on what is right and wrong in our online world.
