ThE ResolutioN!
Hey:
I 'm drafting websites for my "customers". I am wondering<just for a general overscope> what resolution everybody here uses- 1024 by 768 or 800 by 600 and or maybe something different?
Thanx

I use 1280x1024.
For a web site, 800x600 is a safe and good resolution to design for. I don't think designing for 640x480 is worth it. But 800x600 is perfect for doing all sorts of nice things without looking too spacey and thin.

I use 1024x768 too.
I find that at this res, I can get a lot of detail on screen [19" CRT monitor]
But it's not so much that everything gets 'lost'.
so now I'm in my SIXTIES FFS
WTAF, how did that happen, so no more alterations to the sig, it will remain as is now

In the industrie, it's half 800x600 and half 1024x800! Your website HAVE to look good on both resolution!
