    Gmail woes :(

Well i am trying to check my emails at
and i sign in and then this red box appears saying loading and then nothing happens.
I let it sit there for like 10 minutes and still nothing happens, i tried refreshing the page and the same thing happens.
I don't know what i'm doing wrong, and i don't know what to do.
I'm using internet explorer if that's any help?
The newest version as my friend did a update on my computer a few days ago.
Any and all help would be much appreciated.

P.S: I'm sorry if i have started this thread in the wrong area. But becuase i'm a newbie i thought this would be the right area to post me newbie question..

Gmail has a ton of users, so every so often it will hang at that beginning screen. Try a ctrl+r within IE to do a complete refresh (grab new data rather than use what you've already downloaded) to see if that helps the process for now.

Just tried your idea pooh sun tzu.
And it did not seem to work.
Is there anything else i could try/do to get it to load up properly?

Taken straight from their support page:

There might be a number of reasons why the "Loading" screen doesn't change.

Here are some potential causes and solutions:

If you are using Internet security or personal firewall software, we suggest you disable it for troubleshooting purposes.

If you are using Internet Explorer, please follow these steps to reset your browser's preferences:

    1. From the Tools menu at the top of your browser, select 'Internet Options'
    2. From the Privacy tab, select 'Low'
    3. Select 'Edit' and type 'google.com' into the 'Address of Website' field
    4. Select 'Accept' to override the handling of particular cookies
    5. From the Security tab, check that the setting is at 'Medium' or lower
    6. Click 'OK' to accept changes

Clearing a browser's cache often helps resolve Gmail log in problems. To clear your browser's cache in IE, please follow these steps:

    1. Close all open browser windows, and then open a new one
    2. From the Tools menu at the top of your browser, select 'Internet Options'
    3. From the General tab at the top of the dialog box, select 'Temporary Internet files' > 'Delete Files'
    4. Check the 'Delete all offline content' box
    5. Click 'OK' and close your browser window to complete the process

Finally, close your browser window, and open another to log in to Gmail. If you are able to log in to your Gmail account, you can try raising the Privacy setting to 'Low' or 'Medium.'

If you continue to experience problems logging in, please let us know by clicking 'contact us' below.

Oh thank you pooh sun tzu..
It took me a few minutes to change the settings (couldn't work out were this TOOLS thingy was. lol).

Anyhow i changed everything as it said and then restarted Internet Explorer and logged into gmail and it actually worked this time
Thank you very much for your help, and i wish you a pleasant day.
