I don't see anything malicious in there. You have a bunch of stuff that you could probably disable at startup to speed things up. The following are annoying and will slow down your internet browsing, so select them with HijackThis. With all windows (including this one!) closed, please select "fix.”

Why do you think you have this particular infection? I really don't see anything here and you say you haven't either. Could you perhaps describe the problem a bit more in depth. Include the symptoms you are experiencing.

I think I have this because every 3-4 web pages I visit I get a web browser window that pops up like this: (the trial copy written across it is because I used a trial version of capture by george to save the jpeg file)

Hmmmmm.... first why don't you update your version of HijackThis -the newest one is 1.98.2. Get it from http://www.downloads.subratam.org/hijackthis.zip

Then post a new log along with a startup list. In Hijackthis press the Config Button
Click Misc Tools
Check both boxes under the Generate StartupList log and then click the generate startuplist log button.

You might want to hide your post so people who don't have to read this won't be forced to scroll through the long logs.

well out of frustration I got a wild hair and deleted the following with highjackthis:

O2 - BHO: Flash Enhancer - {7CD20E91-1F31-41da-8379-479EA31DF969} - c:\Program Files\XML\XML.dll

it deleted the entry and the associated XML.dll file.

been crusing the web for 15 minutes so far and haven't had the SpotOn browser window pop up yet (it was happening evey minute or so before that.

Anyone know what I deleted and could this be what was causing the problem?
