Use Spybot S&D or Ad-aware and do a search for spyware. Sounds like a browser hijack. Should be pretty easy to resolve once any and all spyware has been removed.

Download Ad-Aware, Spybot, and CWSShredder. Update your Anti-Virus, if you don't have one, GET ONE!
    http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-...ml?tag=lst-0-1
    http://www.download.com/Spybot-Searc...ml?tag=lst-0-2

Install and web update all 4 programs, but don't scan. Reboot the box into "Safe Mode", press F8 a few times before windows loads. Scan with all 4 programs mentioned, do what the software tells you.

If you can't update the software, download the updates on a seperate box and bring them over on a CD.

After those scans, you'll probably have better access to the internet. Go to http://www.housecall.trendmicro.com and scan from there.

And then tell us whats up
