Free hosting with MySQL for PHPNuke
I recently got a new website http://www.antinuke.ath.cx. The server it was hosted on was owned and shut down. I guess thats what I get for letting some kid host my site. Anyways Im looking for a good free host where I can have PHPNuke. Ive been searching but cant find one with MySQL support. Any suggestions?
Thanks

There was a few free hosts that I saw posted here before that offered MySQL support . Not sure how many of them still do.
Here's the thread. good luck.

Personally, I'd ditch PHP-Nuke because that is a fairly commonly owned CMS. At least I know it was a while back, and I'd dare to say it still isn't that great security wise today. What kind of distribution system leaves people who don't want to pay to upgrade at risk of the latest code errors? PHP-Nuke lost my respect a long time ago. And infact, it could have been part of the reason the person who hosted your server got owned...
If you want to stick to the Nukes, give POST-Nuke a chance. I like it much better than PHP-Nuke, and their whole goal isn't to bring the version number to the latest and biggest number. They've got a roadmap of features planned for each version, and are currently at 0.726. Not even 1.0 yet. They're taking the time, and keeping people fairly well informed on their website. http://www.postnuke.com
Me, I've left the Nukes to move onto something more flexable and personal. I don't need a boxy CMS to organize my content in a corporate way. Which is why I've moved on to Drupal. http://www.drupal.org/
