    Understanding IP/TCP Headers

I have retyped an article on understanding IP/TCP headers. This is not an original work. The reason for retyping it and publishing it on AO is to help other understand what the makeup of these two headers consist of and their values.

I hope this is helpful to some.

I did not post this in tutorials because it is not an original work.

You are very correct however in the book they put the IP before the TCP and I decided that stating it like TCP/IP would not be a correct (how the article is setup). So I labled it that way. Sorry for the confusion.
