    hey iron you told me many ways to find the name of an os a box is running using linux and other os ,is there any way you can do that in a win o$ with out installing a program ( my admin does not allow downloads, so i cant download anything) BTW a very good tut

    yourdeadin, you may be able to install the windows version of nmap on one of your boxes, then just copy the directory to a disk and run it from there at work. An even better way is just boot from a Knoppix boot cd at work.

    how can I do a reverse ip check to a domain or box in order to know what websites is hosted on that box ?

    I need a linux COMMAND not using a website

    A few things...

    1. IIRC, I used ipconfig on an ME machine a few weeks ago.

    2. Good tutorial.

    3. Privacy is overrated, and misunderstood. Anybody in here should be able to have my full name, home address, and phone number, with a single WHOIS lookup.

    4. ReMSIS... You're an idiot. Start your own damn thread.
    Real security doesn't come with an installer.
