    “Find Local AntiOnliners” section

I’m guessing there are a few folks in the past who have posted threads like “do any of you live in my area” so as to meet fellow security geeks or notify them of local events/conferences. Rather than have these thread pop up from time to time it might be nice to have a “roll call” like section for those looking for AntiOnliners in their area. I know of a 2600 group in Louisville, and there is another group across the river that meets in New Albany but I’d love to be able to easily find fellow security geeks in the southern Indiana/Louisville KY area. What do you think of adding this kind of section to Antionline?

I'm guessing that this wouldn't be a real problem IF people would fill in their profiles.
There is a calender that gives each members birthday, so it follows that location would be something 'easily' got hold of and utilised.

I think this has some merit, if only to stop the afore mentioned threads from appearing .........

Maybe if you click on the location where people are from under there avatar it should bring up a list of people who have specified the same locations .. that would be cool mind you a lot of people dont set it right .. i guess that means they dont want to be found anyway

Knowing where we are is ok.. certainly lets one know when it is time to move because of over crowding.. helps get the Friday/saturday night sessions organised for the Markboyle Class of member.
