Booting from USB drive
hi all,
i was reading a tutorial about 'booting from usb flash drive' and the link is http://www.weethet.nl/english/hardwa...musbstick.php. I tried the steps mentioned in the tutorial but got no success. Anyone from u friends has tried booting from usb flash drive if yes then plz send the related information about that, i will be grateful to u.
Thanks
(I m using WinXp and has kingston data traveller -128 mb)
Excuse me, is there an airport nearby large enough for a private jet to land?

does your bios have the option to boot from usb / removable devices?
if not, then you wouldn't be able to do so... this is most of the time the biggest problem, making the usb-disk bootable isn't so hard itself, but having a mobo which supports their use is a different story.

then there might be an option too to enable or disable the usb. i have seen this before, that you can boot from usb, only when you enable the option in the bios. otherwise usb will work, but not as
a boot device..
