Error - Yahoo Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close

Hi all,
I am not able to install and run my yahoo messenger. I have tried reinstalling several times from the yahoo website but while installing i am getting a windows xp error as follows

"Yahoo Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

Error Signature
AppName: ypager.exe AppVer: 6.0.0.1750 ModName: flash.ocx
ModVer: 6.0.22.0 Offset: 00057251

This error occurs during installation, uninstallation and while running.
My system is P4, Windows XP Pro
i have tried everything it seems there is some other problem.
Can anyone help me.

Do you have adaware or spyware?

If you don't download this::
