How do ppl crack cheat codes

Well, I never understood why people want to spend dozens and dozens of hours living virtual lives in games like The Sims, either. Mine is not to ask why people want to spend time doing the things that they do... He asked how some game cheats are made, and I answered his question. My answer was short, and right on the money. Kind of the point, isn't it?

As for your little attitude problem, it sucks ass. Trying to stand up and act like the big man in front of JP has been sooo over done already, and no longer impresses people. Perhaps you should try the kinder, friendlier approach.

No, your suggestion sucked ass.

Useing tsearch to cheat games is not only better, faster, but also easier. You won't have to fool around with... or be limited to editing savegame files. The changes don't have to be permanent because everything is done in-memory. It'd be exactly like having a trainer around.

First of all; I don't see how this is a security question at any rate. This doesn't belong in this forum, or anywheres on this board. I thought AO was about security?

Second; I'm fed up with people bitching about everything. I relize I am bitching about it, but it's just to much now.

TheSpecialist, a hex editor would work fine. It won't be that hard if he read-up on what he was doing. The GameShark uses hex editing for it's cheat codes.

JP, people play games because they are fun, and relieve stress. I would say TheSpecialist's suggestion about Tsearch was just as good as your hex editor suggestion. Alot of people have attitude problems on the internet, it's something we all have to accept. As for acting like a big man in front of JP, I don't think he cares your JP, nor do other people that you think are trying to act big. They are simply treating you the same as everyone else, you just think you deserve more.

Lastly; what cheat code are you looking for? What game? This is a very broad question you asked, and it might help narrow it down if you added some specifics.

Anyways, that's enough out of me.
