internet not working
Hi.
I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this question but anyway,
From the last few days whenever I try to go to google and type in something it comes up with this page cannot be displayed.And I cant see any other websites,etc either.I dont know what the problem is.Can anyone please help me?
P.S if this thread is moved to another place,then please pm me with the new link.

What OS are you running??
How are you connected to the Internet??
Did it ever work???
try reseting your modem\router..both???
Anything change recently...hardware...software...both??

If you can answer a few questions, it will help us help you easier.
How does the system in question go online (Dialup ? cable ? DSL ? other?)
Was it ever working ? If so, how long ago ? Did you have any receint storms in the area ?
Do you have any other computers that you can temporarly put in this one's place to check if the problem is actually the computer or the connection ?

To add what MLF said, try clearing your cache and cookies from your browser. (which browser is this?)

Can you do anything else? IRC, messenger, email etc?
Please give the info morganlefay asked so we can help you a bit better.

I'm using Windows XP and using Internet Explorer.I'll have to check and get the answers to other things,will post here again sometime soon.

Oh by the way,my internet has been working about 2 weeks ago but it doesnt work anymore.

1) run windows in failsafe mode with network
2) download Ad-Aware and install it
3) scan you computer for spywares
