I'm using gmail and every thing is working fine. Except for getting two (2) emails about the same post today.

I get notifications although I've turned off the e-mail notification feature in the Site Options panel...

so the ones who recieve notifications recieve two emails? and the ones who dont want any notice (tim_axe) are getting one
think the mods need to have a quick look

Ok, I reversed some changes I had made while trying to address this problem, so the duplicate emails should stop now.
If you have email notification enabled, it just checks the email notification box by default in the full reply page (no email notification option with the quick reply box).
If you use the quick-reply box, you won't get notifications regardless of your profile setting for email notification, unless you have manually subscribed to the thread.
Does that clear things up at all?
