adsl modem-netcomm nb1300 plus4
i have adsl connection with this particular modem which is connected through lan cable to my ps(lan card).
How and where i can see that this modem exist on my pc.
i can not see it in hardware-device manager.
i can not see it as instaleled modem.
only can see local area connection status icon.
so my question is where is it????
where i can see its property?
this is ethernet/isb adsl modem with integrated router & 10/100 4 port switch

Your modem/router should have its own special website that lets you configure its options (I don't know about yours for sure, but most ADSL modems I use have their own websites for configuration). So you just need to find out what it's IP address is, and type that into Internet explorer.
Try this to find out the IP address:
Open up "Command Prompt" (Windows 2000/XP - Start->Run->CMD | Windows 9x - Start->Run->command)
In the new window, type in "ipconfig"
You should get a text like this:
Use the ip address from the bolded line and type that into a URL in Internet Explorer: http://192.168.0.1
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
You should now be able to set up your router.
