    Cisco Local Director LDIR416

    Just bought one off ebay since those naughty people at Cisco stopped making them, I need to reload the IOS so I can start from scratch. the unit runs and I have terminal access etc I can even get it to boot from the floppy but I need to clear the enable password.

    Anyone know how to do this??

    I'm not familiar with this device... but with Cisco devices... the IOS is the operating system. You need to erase the config, not the operating system. However, since its a new device to you, you may want to update the IOS anyway. (if there is an update).
