    hello...
I have some problem... I bought a new hardware - modem router and it has a firewall.....(origo ADSL Router Model: ASR-8400)

now I have many problems to send and accepts files in ICQ.
anyone know which ports do I need to open that Icq won't do me problems?

    thanks.....

    Hello,

Now I don't know your type of modem out of hand but here is what ICQ has to say about configuring it to be able to use it behind a firewall.

I also don't know what OS your running ...maybe it's the firewall of the OS itself that is the problem ..like the firewall from Win XP with SP2 .

Lot's of possibilities ... hope this helps a bit .

    Dear Guss

In this Article they tell's us to open all ports between 1024-65535
and this isn't seems to me... because if we open all those ports, we actually disable our firewall (I think).....
