Windows Service Pack 2 Firewall
I Have Windows Service Pack 2 and it comes with a Firewall. My problem is when I start up my computer a little icon in the icon tray pops up saying "Your Firewall is not activated, click here to activate it". I was wondering why this is happining. Its kind of annoying having this pop up every time i restart my computer.

You could try turning on your firewall.
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu.../firewall.aspx
Or, you can simply navigate the security center's simple GUI that is alerting you, and tell it that you will monitor the firewall yourself.
If your firewall is on, and it is giving you that alert, then you need to sweep for malware that may be interfering w/ the firewall.

Pretty much S_P said, but to go a little further, you can do the following:
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Security Center (can't remember the name entirely)...
Open that up and there's something on the left about "Change the way Security Center alerts me" and turn off the firewall (and whatever else you don't want to know about).
We the willing, led by the unknowing, have been doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do just about anything with almost nothing.
