Installer Question
I am looking for a program that will basically do everything I need it to do to install programs silently on a computer. They are multiple programs and all I want is the customer to click 1 .exe and have all the nessisary files installed without any prompts. Any Ideas?
I know that programs like Ad-Aware and such you can go into DOS and do a /? and it will tell you how to install silently however these programs do not have this option. Can anyone help.... PLEASE

We use Ghost for the initial image, however this program is not standard enough for the company to create a image specifically for this purpose. Any other ideas?

Hrmmm... A few options to consider:
1. Create more than one image (I used to have up to 5 images each one for a different department)
2. SMS -- I know this is for MS deployment but not sure about it's applicability here.
3. Take a look at the following:
http://www.netopia.com/en-us/support...topus/msi.html
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;227091
They may help but it depends on the application.
What application is it (out of curiosity)?

Where would you be pulling the files from (Disk or Network)? Did you want this tacked onto the os installation? Or is this going to be more of an SMS thing or like an update thing? I know you can make a floppy disk, thru norton ghost that will allow you to install the OS silently, all you had to do was slap this floppy in and the OS cd and walk away and later it was all done. I dont know if you can add other software but you can choose other windows features.

Well the company won't approve another image, what I got them to approve is to have the files places on a folder on the C: Drive ready for install.
I found something called InCtrl5. I think this might assist me. Thankyou for all of your help.
