    Post Hacking topics.

    Hi Everyone!

I read some of the tutorials which are posted, but being honest didn't find everything I wanted. Often it happened simply because I didn't know the names of the things I was looking for.

I'd like to ask anyone who's got a spare minute to do the next thing. Write down as many hacking topics as you can. Things like IP spoofing, ARP attacks, etc.

I'm sure, many people will find it prety usefull.

I'f you know even only one vulnurability, put it down, this will allow others to know, what is it they still don't know.

    I'll try to start.

    1 Port Scaning
    2 MAC Spoofing
    3 IP Spoofing
4 DOS - Denial Of Service
    5 Buffer Overflow
    6 Google Hacking
    7 Firewalls
    8 Viruses
    9 AV - Antiviruses
    10 Footprinting
    11 Enumeration
    12 Trojans
13 VPN - Virtual Private Network
    14 Proxy Servers
    15 Internet Anonimity
    16 Cryptography

I understand, that these are very basic names, and many already know them all, but I won't name others for the fear of mistakes. Hope fot your input

I don't think that this can be considered a tutorial.

Not looking for much , are you. Suggest you get your finger out of your arse , and do a little bit of research, or would that be too much trouble, and an inconvenience for you

I decided to post it here, because it should give people an idea about tutorials they want to find.

I also hoped that people will put in more specialised topics, which are interesting for others who are moe advanced, but will be a waste of time for beginers.

From the above , taken from your profile, your experience, skill set etc, you would not have to post such questions. Surely you can do an advanced search of any site?

I think I know where your coming from, if it's from a security point of view anyway...

But I think you went wrong by posting this in the turorial section. You thought that people could post here if it related to tutorials, but really the tutorial section is only for finished tutorials.

    Remember for future reference!!!

I do. I also has got an ontable set of about 15 books that cover major aspects of computing I meet in everyday life. I am also an owner of the e-library which has got around 1000 books, many about computing. Yet, I found, that even that doesn't cover every subject one can encounter in life. So , it is logical to sugest that there are people who's got the same problems.

If every person will name one original topic, I'm sure, all of us will find something interesting there.

I can: Create Industry Standart Databases, Program in Java, Basic Linux, Use MySQL Server (Basic), Seting up Networks, Windows(Advanced), Scripting Languages (Basic), Network Security (Average), Develope IT Project (Little experience).

Yet, I'm not afraid to admit my ignorance in some questions. So I'll be glad and greateful, if instead of arguing with each other we will able to offer people a set of interesting subjects for them to explore in their leisure.

Don't you think that it will be a much better use of Your time here and will help many others?

Hmmm... I guess... but isn't that what the Search feature of AO is for?

I mean after all, after a little bit this thread will be out of view from the frontpage and will most likly only be seen again if someone searches for it lol.
