    defragment NTFS

Does anyone know of a good free defragment program for windows XP's ntfs file system? I have heard that the one that comes with XP isn't all that good.

Not sure about "free", remember that NTFS has always been a professional file system.........who bothers to write free stuff for corporate users

You might check out Diskeeper Lite, it is a somewhat more featured version of the software that ships with XP/2k

If you are prepared to pay look at O-O Defragmenter.
