    Hey Donkey Punch,

The third link tends to display a porno site, am i right?

    reak attack,
The following Link might be of importance.
As for Hiding your IP, i propose some readings about TCP/IP and its mechanism. It would be better off, trust me?

Not that I am aware of. I checked Google, and that's the link I got. I checked it, and seemed OK.

    Checked it... nope. No porno.

You might want to go to www.lavasoftusa.com and download Ad-Aware SE, update the definitions and run it before you start.... Semms like you might have a redirector already on your machine.....

Go here to download Spybot-Search and Destroy, a spyware removal program:

    http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10...age&tag=button

Go here to download Mozilla Firefox, an excellent and more secure browser than internet explorer, this link here is for mozilla-europe, seeing how you in Greece, I guess, maybe it wil be more helpful to you:

    http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/

here's the link to the regular mozilla website, if you prefer that one instead:

    http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/

Maybe one of these other more experienced guys can tell you which one would be better for you.

Get yourself some good anti-virus software, such as Norton, which you have to pay for. Or, you can get free anti-virus software off the web. I just googled some and found links to this sight that offer free anti-virus software:

    http://www.free-av.com/

Get yourself a good firewall, again, you can either pay for one, like Norton Firewall, which comes with their anti-virus software, or again, the link below offers free firewalls:

    http://www.freebyte.com/antivirus/

And these links for firewalls, given to me by Spyrus, and AO senior member, some free and some you have to pay for:

    www.zonelabs.com/
    www.tinysoftware.com/
    www.digitalriver.com/

Again, these guys here on AO will tell if those links to the free anti-virus software and firewalls are good or not and can provide you with a lot of other ones they know about.

Go to microsoft.com and scan and download any Windows Updates they determine your computer needs, here's a quick access link that will take you straight there so you don't have to mess around trying to find it:

    http://www.microsoft.com/security/bu...1_windows.mspx

But I believe you will have to use Internet Explorer browser to actually scan and download the updates, at least that is what I had to do cause I tried to do it with firefox and it wouldn't let me, said I had to be using the IE browser version 5 or higher to do it. But stay up and check their site regularly for updates cause they're always coming out.

These links below are for free, online dictionary/encyclopedia's to help you understand computer and internet technology definitions, just type and search. The first link may be a little easier for you to understand cause it's definitions are more simply explained:

    http://www.webopedia.com/
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

There are a lot more things you should do for computer security, for example, I was reading this article here on AO yesterday about a guy who had his hotmail account password compromised, and they determined that it was because he had used a public computer (i.e. the ones in school) to check his email and it stored his password and someone else got on it, accessed his account and changed the password, so, stay away from checking your email account or any other sites where you have to log in personal info on public computers and change your passwords every so often. And obviously, don't open any emails from people you don't know, especially ones with attachments.

Let's see, that's about all from me, I gotta get up in 4 hours now to go to school, oh yeah, stay up with AO!!! This is an outstanding website, and these guys are damn good, they have helped me a lot, I've learned a lot from them and just from reading forums that interested me, and googling terms that I didn't understand. If there is anything you need help with about security, these are the guys to ask, they will be more than happy to help you. Just be professional, don't ask questions that you can find answers to on google, post your questions in the right forum, read posts others have made here, and, if you can, help them out, this was the advice given to me when I first joined. Good luck and have fun

#1 Please do not start a topic with "Need Help", "Help Me", and so forth. Addressing your problem in the topic actually gets people that might be able to help you with your problem in the thread.
#2 Use G o og l e and the forum Search features before posting. Your question could have been answered in an earlier post.
#3 We are here to help.
As for your questions, the Microsoft Security link would have been my 1st choice for you. And as for hiding your IP, you can use many measures from using a router, a proxy or any other means for your Anonymity.
