That car can't compete with the one I was talking about:
http://www.mclarencars.com/content/s...ainfr/cars.htm
http://www.mclarencars.com/content/s.../f1/ff1fra.htm
"McLaren Cars commissioned the BMW S70/2 engine, designed and built specifically for the F1. This 6.1 litre, quad-cam, 48-valve V12 power unit produces no less than 627 bhp and drives through a bespoke six-speed transaxle gearbox. Radical design features include:
- Central driving position
- ‘Ground-Plane Shear' suspension geometry’
- intelligent brake cooling
- fan-assisted ground-effect aerodynamics
These and many more simply amplify the F1's purity as the ultimate "drivers car". "

I've seen one. No car comes close or probably ever will. I've watched one take a corner at around 200, and not even skid..... And I drooled the whole time. And I quoted from the links I just gave, the engine was in fact BMW.

Gore > That thing is almost 10 years old, when McLaren indeed used BMW. Nowadays, you'll get shot if you mention BMW at McLaren. They're with Mercedes/AMG now, and they built the fastest production car ever (faster than the one you linked to): http://www.mbusa.com/brand/models/SLR.jsp

Ahhh... Yes, fast cars.... The ones you can't drive on Michigan roads because of that little conflict between pothole depth and ground clearance.... The ones where that top speed of 207 mph gets your license taken away forever if you use it..... The ones that cost more than many will earn in a lifetime and certainly more than most peoples houses will ever cost.... The ones that cost half the total national debt to fix a "zing"...... The ones whare your most likely result is that you kill yourself "quicker"......
I'll stick to my Honda Pilot thank you all very much.... I can drive it while the others are walking because they can't get their fast car out of the garage.....
Don\'t SYN us.... We\'ll SYN you.....

Not far from where I live Nigel Mansell used to own a Farrari dealership. One of his customers, having picked up his new pride and joy, killed his self on his way home.
