    Slackware 10.1 released

    Slackware 10.1 has been released!

Now, Pat won't ask for donations, and he would rather starve than release Slackware in an unstable form, and this is his ONLY money coming in. So PLEASE, if you have the whole 40 dollars it costs, PLEASE buy it from here:

I'm asking you myself to buy it because it's bad enough he almost died and would not ask for money from the users of Slackware even when he was almost dead, so please, do the right thing, and BUY Slackware 10.1. I talked to him a few times recently and had no idea this was his only income, so I've been buying from the Slackware store.

I have given you my word already that it's very good and the order came on the day it was supposed to when I paid extra for the overnight shipping and I got my order and am very happy. So please, I'm asking you to buy Slackware, Pat won't but I am.

He is someone who would rather go without food than have to ask for money from people, and he even turned down donations. He doesn't ask for money for nothing, and would rather have you get smoething out of the money you want to give him. The store is the only way to do that so buy something! Even if it's only a Pin, for 2 dollars, I bought one along with 130 dollars worth of extra stuff I got.

You could find enough for the pin under your couch so get off your ass and support Slackware and buy something.

SUSE is great too man. Just remember that when you get Linux, you can download it, but if you can, buy it, it supports them and shows you care.

Yay. I'm a big Slackware fan, so I'm planning on updating. I'll probably wait a while though, as I'm interested in hearing the opinions of others who have upgraded.
