aLMOst how about Feedback on this Image??

Some people may have seen this thread where aLMOst seeks approval of an image he really did bugger all to....oh no wait hold on a seocnd as he himself said he did add the pole - well now there is something....a rectabgle with a gradient fill - now that is the main focus of that image ¬_¬

But rather than just bash the poor guy I thought I'd show him how he should have done things - so I created an image not only just for him, but also inspired by

you can find the photograph I used for refrence here - Yes aLMOst for reference! I didn't steal that pic and write a name on it (oh sorry not forgetting the gradient fill) I used it as a reference to draw my own - infact no part of that image appears in mine - as mine is hand-drawn..

but anyways onwards - so aLMOst lets have your feedback - I cant wait

I think that this case is unique...usually when a newbie gets berated he deserves it...and aLM0st did...now...

normally I don't like to disclose PM's...in this case I'm making an exception...aLM0st did PM me last night and acknowledged that he now understood why it was considered stealing...you guys obviously could not have known that.

I think that aLM0st " might " be the exception to the rule...and we should give him a little space and see what happens.

Egaladeist I too got a PM from aLMOst before I made this thread....I think it was something along the lines of 'shutup your stupid'

which to me was like a redrag to a bull esp as IMHO it was theft of a very well known picture and the subsequent actions of attempting to pass it off as his own work that is very very stupid

I agree it was very stupid of him to try to pass off someone else's work as his own...and it was definitely wrong to have made that PM to you...

I don't know when he PMed you...before or after the fact...if it was before he PMed me then he still hadn't come to the realization that he was wrong yet...he PMed me shortly after my last post in that thread...admitted he was wrong and made no excuses for it...to me that shows character...

if he PMed you after he PMed me then you have the right to tear off a limb...but if he PMed you before me...then I know you have the character to give him another chance.

He PMed me at 11:30pm Last night...if you're PM came after that then you're justified in responding to it...if it was before 11:30pm then he was still under the assumption he did nothing wrong.

he PM'd me just before his final post in that thread - going by the time stamps on them - so it may well ahve been beofre you. And its not about giving him another chance....I aint done anything to the guy - lol heck I didn't even neg his thread - its just in the other thread he did ask for replies and alas I never got time to give any kind of retort to his comments in that thread before it hung itself so I thought this would be a slightly comical way of doing things.

aLMOst is more than welcome to take a dig back at me in picture format (providing he maks it himself ) heh sometimes these image battles can be quite fun!

I dont know the guy personnaly so i couldn't really give a toss about him - but I did feel that maybe a bit of public embaressment would be an apt response to his 'comments'

And normally I would agree with you...but I did say this is the exception to the rule...and it is about giving a second chance...the guy did PM you and it's up to you whether or not you want to let it go.

I don't know him either...and if you remember I was the first post which had a link to a picture of SPAM...nevertheless, I believe this is a case where someone started off wrong, was told he was wrong, and eventually admitted he was wrong.

If he wants to have an image battle with you...I'd enjoy seeing that myself...for fun

but...personally...for what it's worth...I think aLM0st has redeemed himself...being the exception to the rule.

Hey Val,

Can mine count? I only worked on it for 15 min and it's an old fashioned pen/pencil sketch with a little GIMP afterwards... Maybe I can be almost "l33t"?

Hey sorry to all who I may have offended and sorry to Valhallen for PMing him and calling him stupid, I just wasn't sure quite why everyone was critizing my pic and I got a little mad.
