gore, I plan on working my way little by little through what I feel is the most saught after information for the people here. Since I write for them and not for myself, when the times comes that there is an outpouring for increased unix/bsd based security, I'll hop right onto explaining it. Until then, let's quench the thirst people have for bringing Windows up to tcp/ip standards.

And a side note, doesn't BSD run on a RFC compliant TCP stack?



Linux was the first for an RFC complient TCP stack and as far as I know, it's still the only one. BSD is supposedly got a very stable one, which from my tests it does, but as for being complient, I don't think so.
