In many sites, cgi-bin directories are simply named "cgi-bin". If it is not, you may search manually: Go on the web site, find parts of the site which use CGIs, and read sources in order to find their localization.
But, as long as I have read your recent bunch of questions, I will give you a little advice: don't play with things you don't understand You act currently as a lamer, which is not a good idea on a security site like this one.
Life is boring. Play NetHack... --more--

First method
1. open http://www.google.com
2. Search for "index of cgi-bin"
Second method
1. Visit a website, such as http://www.bored.com
2. Add on /cgi-bin/, which would make it http://www.bored.com/cgi-bin/
3. See if it exists

thanks
Kiss Cool - thanks for the rude comments...
its been a long time since I posted on this kind of site - you reminded me of why -
For your information, I am an MCSE with Security + certifications and CCNA certifications. I feel MORE than qualified to be surfing this site for security questions/answers - maybe even provide a few of my own.
this wasn't security related but I thought I'd ask for help on it because generally people don't act as condescending as you.
This is in reply to:

pooh ta
Pooh Ta - well my intranet guy checked that stuff out and said it really didn't make much sense to him. He learns HTML and XML as he goes - so he said that it really didn't make much sense to him what he's looking for....
but thanks for the suggestion - maybe you can explain it to us a little better....
Remember - I'm the network guy here - I don't deal with website stuff at all - just not my thing - we got another guy that's asking this question and I'm just trying to find the answer for him.
