google the phone number. I wouldnt doubt that at the very east it will tell you the service provider. Phone numbers are like IP addresses, each distributor gets a nice little block of there own. If its a pay as you go, then it will probably tell you that, and if its a more permanent service provider call them and explain the situation.

but i really would just call the person and just have a chat.

or be a REAL dick and get one of those nice SMS spammer programs and nuke his phone from your computer (I really would not recomend you do this, becasue then your ass is on the line for harassment)
Everyone is going to die, I am just as good of a reason as any.

    - I’ll be dam*, XTC46! One time I did it to help a friend! I’ve used unimobile for this instance and after sending bunch of spam and "porn sales material" stuffs (maybe the sender’s girlfriend bust his ass after reading such ads) the stupid freak quit bothering her and everybody lived happily ever after. End of story. Bye bye!

    - It depends on the scenario, If you want to avoid counter-attacks and traces as such, stay anonymous, use random public computers in sending message, never mention names or any details (even country of origin). Just a lesson… just that.

BTW, if you want it, try this at your own risk - http://sharpmail.co.uk/html/sms.html

    Goodluck!

    But... but... but...

But for the sake of being professional and having that sort of peace of mind, I don’t recommend doing it at all (The spamming and harassing thing). Be careful then. Because here in AO, we learn protecting and securing things, not abusing it.

For the idea of offensive move, make it legal. It is the best advice you could have from the rest of us here in AO.

    /*in addition...

Legally, you can contact the provider here:
Useful contact numbers: (Check it if it applies for international, sorry for not searching far)
    · Orange Contract Customer Service 0800 801080 (opt. 2,2,3,2) or 150 from the handset, free call
    · Orange PAYG Customer Service 0800 801080 (opt. 2,2,3,1) free call, or 150 from the handset, charged call
    · Virgin Customer Service 0845 6000789 local rate call or 789 from the handset, 10p (not per minute, just 10p)
    · Vodafone Customer Service 07836 191 191 national rate call or 191 from a handset, free
    · One2One 121 from a 121 handset.
Anyway, you can also read more Tips and Legal stuffs here - http://wiredsafety.org/gb/law/spam/u...rbullying.html
    Googled here - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

    Hope it helped!
