Program to kill un-needed processes on XP Pro

Hey everybody, got a question for all you "guru's". I am in the search for a program that will terminate running processes that simply dont need to run. I want the bare-bone minium processes running. I can manually terminate processes and get as low as 18, but if there is a program that will do this for me, and someone has it or knows where to get something like this please let me know...Thanks ten million times...

    At the command prompt:-

    net stop [process name]
Don\'t SYN us.... We\'ll SYN you.....

    Expanding on what Tiger said....

you could write a batch file using the netstop command
    net stop process1 /y
    net stop process2 /y
    net stop process3 /y
    etc

    http://www.docsdownloads.com/Tier1/enditall.htm

the program is called enditall2. It will list all processes running and have the known very important ones locked so you cant end them without going way out of the way to do so, then you can add more to the list of ones you want to keep running. After your list is made click the "kill" button and it will end all processes not on the list.

its awesome for cleaning computer of adware becasue witha single click you kill everything that you dont need, and when they start popping up again as you clean you just click it again and it kills everything again
Everyone is going to die, I am just as good of a reason as any.
