    I would also avoid on board video (sound is OK)
    Can you even buy decent MOBOs without video these days? Never mind I'll go look.

    Most I have seen lately have on board video, you just don't have to use it

    Most onboard sound is actually incredibly good, and you usually don't need anything else for it.

    Actually, neither of the boards kyrios mentions have onboard video. Very expensive ones don't either.
