    Now, That's hacking.

The two computers, along with a monitor, were stolen sometime between 1 a. m. and 6 a.m. March 28 from the administrative offices of the medical group at 400 Grace St. in San Jose, said Officer Enrique Garcia, a police spokesman.

Certainly you can have a security policy for physical theft. You should also have physical security in place (lock computers and monistors to desks, have CCTV, good locks, physical access controls, etc.). The only reason that this is public, as I suspect this happens more often than many realize, is because it happened in California and they are required by law to report any potential privacy violations.

?? We do. We use Kensington cables to lock the monitors and desktops to the desks themselves.

    Unless I'm missing something..
