** HEAD'S UP ** MSN messanger critical vulnerability

    Greeting's

A HIGHLY CRITICAL vulnerability has been found in MSN messenger (VERSION 6.X AND 7 BETA)

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the processing of GIF images and can be exploited by sending a specially crafted emoticon or display picture to a user
    it goes on.....

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code with the privileges of the user running MSN Messenger, but requires that it is possible to send messages to the user (only possible for people in a user's contact list by default).

I try to download the updated version of messenger at http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...eb/ENSetup.exe but the dowload link is broken...I encountered this before last time but they fixed it afterwards... Anyone here tried 7.0? I installed it, while running it freezes my system so much that I can't do anything or shutdown. Now looking forward to reinstall 6.2...
