4/13/2005,10:18:16 AM,1,0,10002,DCOM,NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM,,MAIL,Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server. The server is: {53F9C343-0824-41FD-AD65-259BD85C751D} The user is SYSTEM/NT AUTHORITY, SID=S-1-5-18.
every morning when i check the event logs i get this error message. this morning i had 9379 of them for the past 24 hours. can someone tell me how to find out whats causing it?
win 2003 server w\exchange 2003, iHateSpam, Veritas9 back-up exec and SQLanywhere on a dell power edge 2650

thanks AngelicKnight , your link got me thinking. i searched the registry for the full GUID number. found the culprit and am uninstalling the little rascal as we speak.

That website is truly a lifesaver. I head to it first for every error I find in the event logs.
