Question Windows NT 4.0 filtering needed....

Hello all, I have a couple of NT 4.0 server boxes that are going away probably later this year. But for now I need to secure them as much as possible. I need to filter a couple of ports. I was wondering if you knew of any kind of firewall that cost nothing. I do not want to invest into these servers if possible. Thanks... All input is appreciated.

So...what are you trying to protect yourself from...

Basic services...like file and print sharing???

There was a great document by the NSA for locking down NT servers...depending on the services???

    Try this

Your question it too broad.... and holds no specific fields to talk about... we can posts hundreds of posts to cover SOME points only ... I think you are talking about hardening your server software ... You may want to visit the following links: ....
